Know the work. Confirm your start.

A clear start begins with the actual assignment and written terms. Use this guide before your recruiting call or first field day, and share it with someone you trust if that helps you decide.

This is outdoor, in-person door-to-door fiber sales. You would work with Home Front Solutions as a 1099 independent contractor. Compensation is commission only. The employer-provided $1,500-$3,000 weekly commission range varies, may be lower or zero, and is not guaranteed. There is no guaranteed base salary or hourly wage.

What to expect

The work
Introduce yourself to residents, explain the approved offer, qualify the exact address and keep accurate follow-up records. Respect refusals and property-access rules.
Experience
No resume or prior sales experience is required for the nationwide representative opening. Product and field-process onboarding is provided.
Work arrangements
We accept local, travel, blitz or combined preferences across all 50 states. Recruiting confirms the available assignment and dates; a preference does not reserve a territory.
Commission
Review the written rate, payable event, statement and payment schedule, cancellations and chargebacks. A submitted order is not automatically a payable commission.
Expenses and preparation
Confirm transportation, phone, equipment, permits, any lodging and any onboarding compensation in writing before making plans.
Languages
Tell recruiting which languages you use comfortably. The team confirms the materials and support available for the assignment.

Before you travel or choose a start date

Ask recruiting to confirm these details in writing. If something is missing, ask for it before committing to expenses or field activity.

  1. The contracting company, actual provider, assigned territory and approved offer.
  2. Your written commission plan, including the first possible payment and any conditions or reversals.
  3. The meeting date, time, time zone, location and team contact; do not arrive without confirmation.
  4. Who covers transportation, lodging, phone, equipment, permits and other expenses.
  5. Required approvals, identification, property-access rules and customer-contact hours. An observer label does not establish an exemption.
  6. The approved onboarding process and secure destination for any required documents.

Your first three check-ins

Use this as a discussion plan. Recruiting confirms the actual schedule, permitted activities and any compensation before you begin.

WhenWhat to confirm
Before the first meetingReview the agreement and costs, check the meeting details, and raise any question about the work or timing. You can ask to reschedule or decide not to proceed.
At the first approved sessionReview the current offer, address qualification, identification, access rules and assigned tools. Begin customer-facing activity only after the required approvals are confirmed.
Within the next 48-72 hoursReview what is clear, what needs practice, any recorded order exceptions and the next check-in. Discuss the actual commission statement process; an order or installation is not a payment receipt.

Already worked in solar, pest control, roofing or retail?

Customer conversations, objection handling and accurate records can transfer. Fiber offers, address qualification, compliance and commission events still need fresh preparation. Compare the written terms of both roles before leaving another opportunity; there is no universal install time, credit policy or seven-day payout.

Keep onboarding documents in the approved process

If required, tax forms, banking details, identity documents and background authorizations belong in the secure onboarding process supplied by Home Front. Ask recruiting for the correct destination. Do not put Social Security numbers, bank details, ID photos or customer records in a text, ordinary recruiting message or the public application.

Share the opportunity if you choose
