For D2D company owners and team operators

RS&I, PerfectVision and Home Front: compare fiber team programs.

A fiber D2D team owner comparing RS&I, PerfectVision and Home Front Solutions needs to compare the actual business arrangement behind each program name. Carrier access, field management, ordering tools and payment responsibilities can sit with different organizations. Home Front publishes this independent commercial guide and offers its own master-agent program. It is a competing publisher, with no affiliation or endorsement implied by this comparison.

Identify the company and the program model

The telecom company often searched as RSI is RS&I, at rsiinc.com. Its official materials describe a Master Sales Agent and Distributor supporting authorized dealer businesses. Its dealer FAQ identifies several routes to market, including door-to-door, and distinguishes its dealer support from the dealer's management of daily operations.

PerfectVision currently publishes an Authorized Retailer Program. Its public materials describe several sales channels, including D2D. Chuzo is a separate business enablement software offering associated with PerfectVision. A search for a PerfectVision master-agent program should lead to questions about the current retailer agreement, rather than an assumption that every organization uses the same program structure.

Compare authority and operating ownership

Ask each organization to identify the contracting entity, approved products, sales channel and proposed territory. Then identify who recruits representatives, supervises the team, supplies offer updates and resolves order exceptions. A recognizable carrier logo or access to a software account does not answer all those questions.

Use a responsibility matrix with a named owner for each task. Separate the carrier's product and fulfillment decisions from the channel organization's support and the team's daily field work. Confirm how permission changes reach the team. An introductory conversation starts a review; the resulting written agreement defines the assignment.

  • Who approves the team, representatives and assigned territory?
  • Who supplies the current serviceability and offer information?
  • Who owns order corrections, installation questions and disputes?

Match products and markets to the actual team

Prepare a team profile with the number of people, leadership contact, experience, proposed markets and realistic start window. Identify whether the intended work is residential canvassing, business prospecting, property appointments or another approved channel. Those differences affect training, access and the customer handoff.

Ask which product is available at the exact address and which footprint the team may work. National program research is broader than an active territory. Keep a proposed market pending until its authority, address release, operating access and receiving installation team are confirmed. Discuss a fresh written scope without assuming any right to move existing customers, records or agreements.

Compare the payment event before comparing the headline amount

Home Front's published master-agent offer is for teams of at least five people, at $400 per confirmed installation or activation. That is Home Front's offer; this guide assigns no commission amount to RS&I or PerfectVision. Request the relevant current written terms from each organization before comparing commercial proposals.

Identify the evidence that confirms the payment event and the person who reconciles it. A submitted order, provider-accepted order, booked appointment and confirmed installation or activation are different stages. Ask about the payment calendar, adjustments, cancellations, record disputes and the process for checking a missing payment. Keep the team-level commercial agreement separate from any individual representative compensation arrangement.

Account for costs and included support

Ask for a written account of what the program includes and which costs the team carries. Relevant categories may include travel, accommodation, equipment, software, insurance, representative preparation and field supervision. Record a cost as included, team-paid, separately quoted or unresolved instead of silently assuming it is free.

Compare proposals for the same product, footprint and payment milestone. A headline amount is difficult to assess when one proposal includes management work that another assigns to the dealer. Resolve the specific differences in scope rather than ranking organizations from promotional language or an unsupported estimate of what another team earns.

Check systems, reporting and customer-data responsibilities

Chuzo's official Business Suite page describes agent onboarding, order management and reporting across sales, activations, cancellations and installations. Software can help organize those stages, but the program still needs an agreed authoritative source for each reported outcome and a person who can correct an exception.

Ask which system the team may use, who grants access, what information may be shared and how access ends. Use a consistent provider reference to reconcile duplicates and appointment changes. For an initial Home Front inquiry, share aggregate team and market facts; customer account records and credentials are unnecessary for evaluating the proposed business scope.

Use conference conversations to gather comparable answers

D2DCon can provide context for a team owner's industry research. The organizer's current agenda lists January 28–30, 2027, at Mountain America Expo Center in Sandy, Utah, with an owners program. Check the official agenda when planning; this guide does not claim Home Front attendance, sponsorship or an event relationship.

Bring the same short team brief and question sheet to relevant conversations. Record the organization, person, proposed product and agreed follow-up. Distinguish an introduction from a written offer or approved territory. Afterward, compare the answers using the same responsibilities and payment definitions, then request the documents needed for a concrete decision.
