Carrier program payout checklist

The $400 master-agent payout: what to confirm before launch.

Home Front's carrier master-agent program offers $400 per confirmed installation or activation, with a minimum team of five people. The rate gives a team operator one starting point for evaluating a program. The written agreement must also settle the applicable carrier scope, confirmation evidence, payment timing and any cancellation or reversal terms.

Start with the confirmed event

Keep the sales stages explicit. A customer conversation may lead to a prospect record; an accepted offer may lead to a submitted order; the provider may accept and schedule that order. Those are useful operational stages, but they are not a confirmed installation or activation.

The program payout refers to the confirmed customer outcome. Identify the applicable event for the carrier and product being offered and the authoritative record used to confirm it. If the same customer record includes both installation and activation, the written terms should make clear how the deal is counted. Do not assume that two status entries create two payouts.

Ask who can resolve a record when the team and provider show different stages. Keep an unresolved event pending until the designated owner supplies the confirmation.

Confirm the scope of the program rate

The $400 is the master-agent business program payout. It does not state the amount an individual representative receives, how the operator allocates it, or the team's take-home income. Those are separate arrangements.

Name the carrier, product, customer type and territory to which the proposed program applies. Teams interested in different carriers are welcome to inquire, while the written agreement establishes the authorized scope of the actual assignment.

Public carrier channel materials are useful background. AT&T, for example, describes multiple selling and resale models within Partner Solutions. A public model description does not establish the payout, authority or responsibilities of a particular Home Front team agreement.

Settle the terms that the rate does not answer

Review these questions before using the program rate in a launch decision. Ask for a specific written answer or identify the person who will provide it. The checklist does not supply payment or adjustment conditions that have not been agreed.

  • What exact product and customer outcome qualify for the program payout?
  • Which record confirms installation or activation, and who owns validation?
  • When is a confirmed deal included in a payment statement?
  • What is the agreed payment timing and how is payment status reported?
  • What cancellation, reversal or adjustment conditions apply, if any?
  • How are duplicate records, corrections and disputed confirmations resolved?
  • What reference connects the customer outcome to the program payment?

Keep the team's operating arrangements separate

A team operator should know who is responsible for field management, tools, travel and other agreed operating costs. Confirm included support and expense responsibilities rather than assuming the headline payout covers a particular package.

Document representative compensation separately. The master-agent business payout is not a public promise of representative earnings. A team should be able to explain the applicable work and compensation terms before anyone accepts an assignment.

Evaluate the actual program with its agreed responsibilities and confirmed outcomes. Avoid treating a target order count as guaranteed production or multiplying an unconfirmed pipeline into money already earned. A useful review keeps projected activity, completed outcomes and payments received distinct.

Use a simple reconciliation record

Maintain the minimum approved record needed to match the deal across the program and provider systems. Use the provider or program reference, the latest confirmed event, its date, the confirmation source and the associated payment status.

Review pending outcomes and payment exceptions with the named owner. Record a correction when the source changes and retain the reason. Reconcile the same deal instead of adding another line as a new customer.

The program's approved systems and access rules control customer information. Initial partnership inquiries can use business contact and program details; they do not need customer account records or carrier credentials.

Bring the payout questions to a concrete program review

Confirm that your team has at least five people, identify the carrier products and markets you want reviewed and name the person who will manage reconciliation. Include the proposed start window and any operating dependencies.

Ask the program owner to put the scope, confirmation process, payment timing and adjustment terms together in the applicable written agreement. That gives the team one reviewable set of terms for the advertised $400 per confirmed installation or activation.

Questions buyers ask

Is a submitted order enough to receive the $400 payout?

The advertised milestone is confirmed installation or activation. A submitted order is an earlier stage. Confirm the applicable event, validation and payment timing in the written carrier program.

Is the $400 master-agent amount guaranteed individual income?

No. It is the business program payout for the stated confirmed outcome. Representative compensation, operating costs and the number of completed deals are separate matters.

Does this page state the payment schedule or reversal rules?

No specific payment schedule or cancellation/reversal conditions have been published here. Review those terms in the applicable written agreement before accepting the assignment.
