Check the fiber-specific steps before changing roles
Your sales experience can help with prospecting, listening and follow-up. The actual fiber assignment still needs its own product and field-process onboarding. Ask recruiting how these steps work:
- Address and offer: An announced fiber build does not establish that a customer can order. Use the provider-approved process to check the exact address, available plan, price and offer conditions.
- Order and installation: Confirm who accepts the order, schedules the installation and resolves delays or exceptions. A customer conversation, submitted order and completed installation are separate milestones.
- Payable commission: Review the written event that makes a commission payable, the verification and payment schedule, and any cancellation or chargeback rules. A submitted order is not automatically a paid commission.
Compare both written offers over the same period, including the expenses you pay. A move to fiber does not establish a higher conversion rate, faster payment or higher earnings.
